Legend would have it that the tortellino was fashioned in the form of Venus’ navel and in fact, gourmets tend to consider tortellini a divine dish. It is one of the symbols of Italy and at the heart of the Mediterranean diet, which is why we give it an important place in our range, to tempt our customers and to suit all tastes. Starting with fresh pasta, which offers the opportunity to try out new ways of cooking, using broth or sauce, different formats, with pasta filled with meat or vegetables, and a selection of elegant flavours. And of course, we have the classics, such as the renowned tagliatelle, which get their name from the fact that the pasta is cut (“tagliato”) into lots of strips and enjoyed with the all-essential ragu. We also offer a range of durum wheat pasta, typically extruded through bronze and dried slowly for long periods at low temperatures. Farfalle, fusilli, mafalde, linguine, orecchiette, and many other formats, born of the creativity of Italy’s master pasta makers. The same tradition is responsible for different types of bread that make Emilia Romagna happy: piada, crescentina, and tigelle, which are products to be discovered by tasting the different sweet and savoury varieties. And for those who want to enjoy some other tasty treats, we also have a wide choice of artisan-made biscuits.
