PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING BY VECCHIA MALGA
This policy statement applies to the website www.vecchiamalganegozi.com (the “Website”), owned by Vecchia malga negozi S.r.l. socio unico con sede legale in via calzavecchio, 23 - 40033 Casalecchio di Reno (BO) Tel: 0039 0516166687 Fax: 0039 0516166686 - VAT 03044961203(referred to as “Vecchia Malga”) operating in the capacity of data controller, pursuant to Lgs. Decree no. 196/2003 (Data Protection Code - referred to as “Code”).
Specifically, this policy statement is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the Code and is destined to all those using the web services of Vecchia Malga, which can be accessed from the Website, and applies to all personal data that Vecchia Malga collects and stores with regard to its users and their accounts, while it does not apply to data collected from other websites that may be consulted by users via links to pages belonging to other sites.
The term “personal data” is understood as any information about an individual who may be identified or identifiable, including indirectly, by reference to any other information (art 4., lett. b, Code).
WHICH DATA ARE PROCESSED BY VECCHIA MALGA?
The personal data processed by Vecchia Malga (“Data Processing”) are data collected (i) because they are provided directly by the data subject; (ii) by third parties; (iii) automatically.
i) Data provided directly by the data subject are all personal data entered on the Website (for browsing purposes, to make online purchases or for any other reason) or which are provided to Vecchia Malga in any manner. Any data subject, within the limits permitted by law, may decide not to allow the processing or all or a part of their data, although this may limit or prevent their use of the services provided by Vecchia Malga. Examples of data provided directly by the data subject are: name, address and telephone numbers; credit card details (processed within the time limits necessary for making purchases and in any case, compliant with that stated in the General Conditions of Sale, available by clicking here); names of the recipients of the order, if different from the purchaser. More generally, all data provided to allow a purchase to be made, to search for products on the Website, the completion and use of a profile on the Website, the provision of delivery information such as contact numbers and addresses (e.g. telephone, email, addresses), etc.
ii) Data provided by third parties are those personal data collected by Vecchia Malga from other sources (postal service companies, couriers, data entry companies, etc.) to provide its services. In this case, too, any data subject, within the limits permitted by law, may decide not to allow the processing or all or a part of their data, although this may limit or prevent their use of the services provided by Vecchia Malga. Examples of data provided by third parties are data concerning updates or corrections received regarding deliveries by couriers or transport partners or third parties, data on website visits that we may receive from other business operators that Vecchia Malga may collaborate with for several initiatives, etc.
iii) Data collected automatically are browsing data and/or, “cookies”. The computerised systems and software procedures used for Website operation acquire some personal data during normal operation and the transmission of these data is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. This is information that is not generally collected to be associated with identified data subjects but which, due to its very nature, may, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. The data in this category include IP addresses or domain names from the computers used by those who connect to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses for the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the operating system and the user’s operating environment. These data are mainly used to extrapolate statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation. The data can be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes that damage the site.
A cookie is a reduced size file sent by a website and stored in the user’s browser while a website is being used. Cookies can be stored only for the time that a specific website is being used (session cookies) or for a longer period, independently of the session (persistent cookie). Cookies operate together with the content of the Website and their function is normally to improve the easy use and browsing experience on the web site. They allow Vecchia Malga to know the content that has been viewed, the choices made and any other use of the Website by the user. This function allows Vecchia Malga to offer dedicated advertising to each single user. This category includes the following types of cookies:

DATA PROCESSING LOCATION, METHOD AND SUBJECTS TO WHICH DATA CAN BE COMMUNICATED
As a rule, data is processed at the headquarters of Vecchia Malga S.r.l.
In any other case, unless provided for by law, personal data will not be sold on and/or disclosed to third parties.
Personal data are collected in compliance with the obligations and guarantees envisaged in the Code and they are mainly processed using electronic and automated means, for the tim strictly necessary to achieve the aims for which they were collected. Specific security measures are complied with to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or improper uses or unauthorised access to same.
As soon as personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, Vecchia Malga will delete said data provided that the law does require storing or the user has not consented to processing for a longer time or to the storage of said data.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Pursuant to Art. 7 of the Code, each data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of otherwise of their personal data, even if not yet registered, and the communication of same in an intelligible format.
Specifically, each data subject has the right to obtain, from Vecchia Malga, all notifications concerning: (i) the origin of the personal data; (ii) the purpose and method used for processing; (iii) the methods by which electronic/computer-based means process data; (iv) the identification details of the data controller and any appointed persons responsible for processing; (v) identification details for the subjects and categories of subjects to whom data can be communicated.
Moreover, each data subject has the right to obtain, from Vecchia Malga, the update, correction or integration of their own data, such as the deletion of same in case of unlawful processing and/or in other legal cases, with the blockage of all data processed unlawfully.
Each data subject has the right to oppose, wholly or in part, the processing of their personal data although pertinent to the purpose of collection, on legitimate grounds and for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales materials or for carrying out market research.
The requests as described in the above sections, must be sent by registered letter with recorded delivery or by email. to the Data Controller named in the successive section.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING - OBLIGATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE AND CONSEQUENCE OF REFUSALS
Data are processed exclusively for the purpose for the purposes for which they were collected, as described below.
Mainly, Vecchia Malga uses the data provided by users to:
- manage orders and carry out connected activities (manage orders and carry out the connected activities - e.g., communication with the customer on the order status, replies to requests for information, management of payments, etc.);
- manage the accounts of users in case of registration on the Website to use the relevant services;
- allow joining of specific further services such as the receipt of newsletters for the communication of promo offers and other information services, or to carry out statistical activities and/or market research.
For all of the above purposes, Vecchia Malga may appoint external suppliers to which only the data strictly necessary to perform the task are provided.
The provision of data for the purposes as per points no. 1 and 2 above, since they are necessary for the sale and delivery of the products and services purchased on the Website and for registration on the site, are obligatory and failure to provide consent to Processing will make it impossible to carry out the services required for the purpose of goods and services on the Website and registration on the Website itself.
Vecchia Malga will be able to send messages to the email address provided by the Customer during the purchase processes or services sold on the Website, to allow the direct sale of the same products and services without the need for the express prior consent of the Customer (as envisaged in art. 130, subsection 4 of the Privacy Code) and provided that the user does not exercise their right to oppose the processing of data concerning them, via the relevant link at the bottom of any promotional email sent by Vecchia Malga or via management of their own personal area of the Website.
